It's here! A new year welcomed with open arms.
It's a big year in our home with a lot to celebrate and a lot of changes coming our way as well. But, before I go there, I want to revisit 2012 and where I was this time last year. Last Year my One Little Word was organize. I achieved some of that. I am back to working out and that is a good thing. But I still struggle with finding enough time in my days and my studio is still in need of some serious organizing.
Last year Kelly chose Achieve as her word and she more than did that. She aced AP tests and received the AP Scholar Award. She kept up excellent grades and was accepted to George Mason University to major in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. She achieved and we are so proud of her. This year she opted out of participating in one little word with me. ;)
So... it's a new year and I will continue to organize as I move forward. And I have chosen a new wordfor the new year.

This year... Randy and I will celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. Kelly turns 18. Kelly graduates from high school. My dad turns 75. Kelly will be leaving for college. We will have an empty nest. Just typing empty nest gave me a lump in my throat. Like I said, it's going to be a big year of change and I am going to do my best to welcome it all!
