My cousin's daughter is so adorable and reminds me so much of myself at that age and it's not just the haircut! ;)
To scrap this sweet photo I decided I wanted to get a bit artsy to reflect the playfulness of the image and let's face it, scrapbooking is a lot like art therapy only much cheaper ;)
I found my inspiration for this page and some of the new artsy paint I've created on Pinterest in my art inspiration board.
I started with a background paper from Vintage Book No. 3 and I adjusted the levels just a bit to make the background brighter. Then I simply dragged on of the Artsy Paint graphics onto the background and set the blend mode to Linear Burn. This intensified the graphic and picked up the textures of the paper. After that it was just a matter of layering in some elements, the all-important date stamp, a few captions and it's done! Simple as that!
