I did it!
2013 year-in-review is completed in pocket scrapbook style! I had started the year printing each page thinking I would keep a binder of my project llife pages. But as the year went on and I looked at my shelf of photobooks I decided it would be better to have it printed into a hardcover book. I like having all my books the same size on the shelf together. I use the 8x8 size for most and really love having them all be the same size to look back thru.
In years past I had done a year in review where each 2-page spread covered a month of events. But in this format I'm scrapping each week in a single page giving 8 pages to most months. It helps to capture more of the everyday details that I want to document for posterity.
I still might do a year in review that's more photo-focused but this format is working well for me. And I'm happy to say that I will be continuing with this project in 2014!
