Any Inauguration, whether of someone I chose or not, is an important one.
It's historic.
Living just north of DC it's something I'm following on the news.
These pictures are from my mom's scrapbook that I've scanned for a family archive and I love these for their historic significance. They are from John F. Kennedy's inauguration that my parents attended. My mom had been going to college in DC and my dad was working at the Pentagon. I can only imagine what a magical time it was for our country back then.
It's way to crazy to head down to DC for pictures like this of my own.
So I'll settle for pictures of the tv ;)
