This weekend, admidst a crazy creating spurt as I get ready for the quarterly sale at DesignerDigitals, I took time out to do what got me to this place to begin with... scrap!
A couple of weeks ago I got to go back to Omaha to visit my parents and little sister and her family. We took her boys to Vala's Pumpkin Patch which was *the* most amazing pumpkin patch. It was seriously like Disneyland. I took hundreds of pictures [lots more pages to be scrapped] and the boys had loads of fun and we didn't even get through half of it before we needed to call it done!
Then I wanted to take some time to work with some of the new products I'd been making including a new whimsical pilgrim set and some mixed media transfers too! So I found a picture I'd taken a couple of years ago when my parents came out from Omaha to spend Thanksgiving on the east coast here. My dad, being the oldest in his family, led the blessing.
Finally, Christmas.
Yes, I am making Christmas products already. It's already time to get Christmas cards done and start prepping for Days of December traditional daily scrapbooking of those special days. So this weekend I released Winter Woods and have been working on a new set of Counting Christmas Tags for this year. I'm hoping to get two sets done before December. The first set will be more of a modern vintage set and then a second more traditional vintage set will be coming as well. And as I work on these tags I couldn't wait to work with them and scrapped this page of our Dixie Dog.
There's no school today and I have dinner plans with my cousin but in between I'll be back to creating today!
