One word?
Perfection!
On the way up to Philadelphia, Randy and I had Sirius on 80s on 8 and reminisced about our lives in the 80s. Good Times! Going to the show was Randy's idea. He's a huge fan. I knew who Peter Gabriel was but spent the early 80s obsessing over the Fleetwood Mac, Loggins and Messina, The Doors, Rolling Stones and some Elvis Costello... what a mix, right?! LOL! So I was a casual fan. But that's all changed now!
The show was an 80s flashback like no other and I loved every minute! Peter Gabriel still has it and he totally delivered! It was a packed house in Philadelphia's Comcast Center and he played all the favorites from the start playing mostly songs from the So and Us albums! I loved hearing Digging in the Dirt, Big Time, Family Snapshot, Shock the Money [of course], Red Rain, Sledge Hammer and Don't Give Up was amazing. The graphics and stage show had me back in the 80s and enjoying every minute. He closed out with In Your Eyes!
He came back for an encore and performed Biko!
Good Show!!
