Got this in email from Shutterfly.
I put my faith in Shutterfly when I joined as a customer in 1999. Then, when I got into digital scrapbooking 7 years ago, I put my faith in them again. They are a big company. They have staying power. My books are good there. My projects belong there. Right? NO.
They dropped Digital Scrapbooking and the Shutterfly Digital Scrapbooking Path like a hot potato a couple of years ago now. Without even a peep to us, DesignerDigitals, who had the faith in them to partner and encourage them as source for our customers, Digital Scrapbookers, to get their photobooks done with. So we dropped them as a partner.
But old habits die hard and I have not been able to get my head around a new vendor. But, considering I have books in progress that it now looks like I will have to start over because they will not be finished by Septemeber 10th, I guess I will be making a switch to Blurb after just getting this email. And the intent I had to add to my Year-by-Year book now that Kelly is approaching 18 will have to be done with another source if I have to start over. UGH.
