It's a wrap!
On Christmas evening I finished up my book! I've embarked on this project a couple of times now and never have finished it until this year! At first I thought I just didn't have enough going on to do a December daily but then I decided that, busy or not, my story is one that needs to be told. And so I started AND I finished documenting December 1st-25th and I'm so very glad I did.
I kept the look consistent using the Days of December Layered Template Set No. 5, Naturally Krafty paper as the background for each page and then mixed in a variety of Christmas papers and elements including Christmas Village and Words+Pictures: Christmas among others. And I mostly just chose one picture for each day. Trying to capture the essence of the day in that one picture. Some days I had many to choose from but most were only a few. It's a simple story but it's a glimpse into our lives and a record of how we lived for the generations that come after us to share in.

It's got me on a roll.
I've more than 1/2 way through with a 2011 year in review book using the same format and then I have a few projects I *need* to wrap up. Our summer exchange is tops on my list and a book about our cruise is 2nd. Then, rather than trying to make up for all I've missed, I'm going to just start tackling one album at a time along with my random scrapping and I hope that 2012 sees many more FINISHED projects!
