So far, this summer has been pretty slow for us.
It's the first summer since preschool that Kelly hasn't gone away to summer camp. I think she would say it's been downright boring.
Next week [when temperatures are predicted to peak near 100°] things will be picking up with a friend coming from across the pond and a whirlwind 10 days of trips to the beach and the city on the schedule. Then Kelly will head across the pond and come home to head to Chicago for a visit and a wedding before school starts at the end of August!
I'm sure the feelings of boredom will fade very soon!
