Our Visit is Winding Down

It's been an amazing 10 days so far!

Yesterday I took the girls up to Wildwood, NJ to the beach and Morey's Pier. It was dang hot again but they had a great time. I can't believe the first half of this adventure is almost over. Tomorrow night the girls head to England to stay with Georgia's family for 10 days.

And we're going to have to figure out another carryon to get the piggy back to the UK ;)

Capitol Girls

Headed into DC with the girls yesterday!
The lawn on the National Mall is definitely showing signs of the heat, eh?! The heat was still a little rough yesterday with highs topping in the high 90s so we parked and walked to the Natural History Museum and stayed there most of the day in the air conditioning!

There was so much to see. It was my first trip there too and loved all the photo ops!

As the day went on, the girls got more animated with their pictures and they couldn't resist monkeying around! [and I need some noiseware ;)]

And Georgia was so brave with the grasshoppers! Kelly couldn't even watch!

More adventures to come!

Absolutely Brilliant!

We are having so much fun with our houseguest from England!

She's the daughter of a dear friend and she and Kelly are getting along like they have known each other forever! It's so much fun for me to have another teenage girl around the house too! I've been on the go with the girls non-stop and we're only on day 3 of 10!

The heat has been a bit much though, so today we kept it indoors and goofed around in the photo studio this afternoon!

Time to rest up for tomorrow now!
