This week marks the end of the first decade of the new millenium.
Quite a landmark.
And I'm starting a new Create-a-Book series looking back on this first decade in our life.
As I pulled out my old scrapbooks from the first years of the decade, I was filled with emotion reading through all my pages and I knew I wouldn't have remembered these details if I had not scrapped them. Names of friends I couldn't remember were right there in my scrapbook pages. And all the trips we'd taken were documented--I love that! I also noticed a gap in the decade and I want to make sure there are no gaps in our memories. So doing this book will be like a super-sized year in review. I have pictures, if not pages and now I can go back and document about these past eleven years [taking on 2000-2010].
And as early as 1998... I discovered I WAS a HYBRID SCRAPPER!! And I didn't even realize it!
I was typesetting my page titles in Illustrator and printing them out, coloring them in, and adding to my pages. HYBRID. yup! that *was* me... until I went completely digital in 2004.
This is going to be a great relective project and I hope you'll join in! I'll be posting template sets each week as we go from 2000 through 2010.
A decade of changes.
A decade of growth.
A decade of memories.
