And this afternoon we're heading out to my sisters for more cousin time before Liza and Eliot head off to college this week! Tomorrow Kelly and I have some back to school shopping planned after Dad gets home from sailing with a friend. And the new season of field hockey starts this week too!! It's going to be a busy week!
in the last two weeks I have taken nearly 2500 pictures! And I'm not slowing down. Getting together with family on Saturday AND Sunday this weekend! LOL! Just preparing for long winter days of scrapping! Right now I've got a long list of things that need to be done for the store for the weekend! Might have to just let a few things go until next weekend instead!
This weekend we headed up through the Amish countryside in Pennsylvannia to check out Shupp's Grove outdoor antique market. I had high hopes because this weekend's theme was paper and ephemera and I had hoped to find myself in vintage heaven. But the weather didn't cooperate and there were storms so a lot of the booths were closed up or didn't show up altogether.
But I did manage to find a few primers and old workbooks. I haven't done any vintage children's kits in quite a while and am hoping these peices are just the nudge I needed! and I think if the thunder hadn't started to roll I would have found many more treasures. We'll just have to head up there again this fall for more treasure hunting!
We've spent the day at home today because early tomorrow we are heading down to Kentucky to see this little princess! Camera batteries are charged and now I just need to wrap her birthday presents and we'll be all set!
